Brookline, Mass., March 1 - Highrock Brookline announced today that Kat Hampson will become its new Lead Pastor following a vote at a members’ meeting on February 28, 2021.
Welcome to Highrock Acton! We would love to invite you to a service on Sunday or to any of our public events. If you’re new to Highrock, Sunday worship at our building on Great Road is a good place to start. To get to know us better, join Pastors Becky and Will after service when they host their monthly “Meet the Rockers" gathering. Whether you're looking for a church or a place to ask questions and connect with God, we look forward to seeing you soon!
Sunday service at Highrock is a place to rejoice, revive and rest. A place for community, where we worship, serve, eat, and laugh together. A place where messy and broken people come to encounter a loving God who desires to heal and transform. A place where we find strength in following Christ.
Currently we invite everyone to participate in our live-streamed Sunday service, available on our YouTube channel every Sunday. You can watch the service when it premieres at 10am and engage in the live chat, or watch it later in the week.
Kidsrock, our children's ministry, provides a monthly opportunity to pick up a "Kidsorck box," containing a month full of resources and activities to engage your child in a life of faith. We also post online teaching videos and more. Questions? Reach out to our NextGen Ministry Director, Phyllis Myung, at email@example.com
When are building re-opens for public gatherings, we invite you to come as you are! You don’t have to dress or act a certain way, or even believe what we believe! We worship in a variety of ways, through songs, stories, and sermons. We value relevance while adhering to centuries-old Christian traditions, and incorporate both ancient and contemporary elements in our worship.
When public gatherings resume, we invite you to the fellowship hall after service for some coffee, yummy snacks, refreshments, and good conversation.
After five years as a portable church, Highrock purchased and renovated a property on Great Road in Acton to serve as their house of worship and center for ministry
For its first five years as a chruch, Highrock Acton rented spaces in the Gates School in West Acton for worship services. With the town's plan to rebuild Gates and the challenges of a growing ministry, Highrock searched for a permanent property to continue ministry in Acton. In August 2019, the church purchased the property on 255 Great Road, formerly home to the Makaha restaurant. The building was renovated during the following Fall and Winter, and ready to open for services in March 2020. Public services will resume in the new building after COVID-19 precautions come to an end.
The church building is located on the well-traveled Great Road, also known as 119 or 2A. It can be accessed from the south or from Rte 2 by taking the exit for Main St. (Rte 27) in Acton, and traveling north, and then turning right on Brook St., which will bring you directly across from the building. You can easily arrive at the building from the north and west by traveling east on 119. The building can also be approached from the east by taking the 119/2A exit off of the Concord rotary.
This a place for moms of preschoolers and school-age children to connect, have fun, and grow together! MOPS meets at our main church building during the school year, with playdates at local parks during the summer, and special events all year long. Currently, MOPS is meeting online on Tuesday evenings.
Kids and youth of all ages have safe spaces to connect on Sundays and beyond.
Go to our Kidsrock page to discover resources for kids and families while services are online. When Sunday services resume, we have exciting, kid-targeted programs for infants through grade 3 during our service. The nursery is open for drop-off 10 minutes before service. Should your child need you during the service, don’t worry, we will come get you! Children ages 3 through grade 5 begin in the worship service, then connect with their small group leader after the opening worship and are led to their learning space. Parents and guardians may pick up their children immediately following service.

On Sundays, in addition to joining in worship, many of our teens serve in various areas of the church like our children's, worship, and welcoming ministries. Most Friday evenings our junior high youth, grades 6 to 8, gather for our youth group, a fun mixture of games, snacks, small groups, and worship. Our senior high youth, grades 9 to 12, gather most Sunday evenings. While gathering restrictions are in place, our youth have some meetings online, and some outdoors in-person with precautions.
Our Youth Group also has special monthly events, retreats, and service opportunities throughout the year. For more information, join the "Youth Ministry" group on MyRock or contact our Youth Ministry director, Mary Morrison, at email@example.com.

The church is a white brick building located on Great Road (119/2A) in Acton, right across from the Donelan's grocery store. The church is easily accessible from both Rte 2 and Rte 495. Just look for the Highrock signs as you arrive!
The church has lower and upper parking lots that are clearly visible. In addition, there is additional parking in Gould's Plaza across the street. If you park across the street, please park near the back of the lot and use the crosswalk with caution when crossing Great Road. Look for a member of our parking team to assist you!
Highrock wants to include everyone around God's table, including those with physical challenges. In both our strengths and our limitations, we each reflect essential elements of the image of God. We hope that you will feel welcome here so that the image of God we reflect as a church body might be more complete.
There are designated handicap parking spaces in the parking lot, and all the gathering spaces and restrooms in the building are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.
The Ministry Center is located in the upper part of the church property, and is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers via a ramp located in the rear of the building.
There’s always something going on at Highrock! Some of our community groups have regular midweek gatherings, small groups meet during various seasons, and there are special events happening throughout the year.
