God is in the early stages of planting a new Highrock church in Southwest Boston led by Andy Ober.
Welcome to Highrock Acton! We would love to invite you to a service on Sunday or to any of our public events. If you’re new to Highrock, Sunday worship at Gates School is a good place to start. To get to know us better, join Pastors Becky and Will after service when they host their monthly “Meet the Rockers” newcomers lunch at our Ministry Center. Whether you're looking for a church or a place to ask questions and connect with God, we look forward to seeing you soon!
Sunday service at Highrock is a place to rejoice, revive and rest. A place for community, where we worship, serve, eat, and laugh together. A place where messy and broken people come to encounter a loving God who desires to heal and transform. A place where we find strength in following Christ.
Please come as you are! You don’t have to dress or act a certain way, or even believe what we believe! We worship in a variety of ways, through songs, stories, and sermons. We value relevance while adhering to centuries-old Christian traditions, and incorporate both ancient and contemporary elements in our worship.
KidsRock, our children's ministry, is offered at our morning service for infants through fifth grade. When you arrive, just visit our KidsRock check-in station where a member of our team can register your child and explain the childcare and programs we have available. Questions? Reach out to our KidsRock Director, Kelly Ladd Bishop. at email@example.com
Head to the foyer after service for some coffee, yummy snacks, refreshments, and good conversation.
The Stow Chapel is a historic New England church building in nearby Stow, where we hold special services, summer services, and outreach events.
After Highrock's adoption of the Union Church of Stow in November 2016, the Stow Chapel became a second location for worship, services, and outreach. The Chapel is just a short 7 minutes away from West Acton in neighboring Stow. We hold summer services, special services, and outreach events like Summer Blast, MOPS, and Ann's Dinner there.
The Stow Chapel is located in the center of Stow on 317 Great Rd. Directions from the Acton Ministry Center: Follow Mass Ave West and turn left on Central St. Veer right onto Willow St. Stay on this road for 3 miles. It will turn into West Acton Rd and bring you to the center of Stow. When you get to a stop sign in Stow, turn left onto Library Hill Rd, and then turn left onto Great Rd (Rte. 62/117). The Stow Chapel will be the second church building on your left, just 0.2 miles down the road.
A free, warm, home-cooked meal for those hungry for food and fellowship. Gluten-free options are always available. Whether you come to serve or receive, it's an opportunity to build friendship.
Kids and youth of all ages have safe spaces to connect on Sundays and beyond.
On Sunday mornings, we have exciting, kid-targeted programs for infants through grade 3 during our service. The nursery is open for drop-off at 9:50am. Should your child need you during the service, don’t worry, we will come get you! Children ages 3 through grade 3 begin in the worship service, then connect with their small group leader after the opening worship and are led to their learning space. Parents and guardians may pick up their children immediately following service in the gym or nursery.
Our TweensRock group worships with their family on the first Sunday of each month, and on the other three Sundays they meet up with their Small Group after opening worship for a time of learning and games. Tweens also have a monthly special activity and a winter retreat.
For more information, please contact our KidsRock Director, Kelly Ladd Bishop, at firstname.lastname@example.org
On Sundays, in addition to joining in worship, many of our teens serve in various areas of the church like our children's, worship, and welcoming ministries. Most Sunday evenings our youth gather for our youth group, a fun mixture of games, snacks, small groups, and worship.
Our Youth Group also has special monthly events, retreats, and service opportunities throughout the year. For more information, join the "Youth Ministry" group on MyRock or contact our Youth Ministry resident, I.J. Hur, at email@example.com

Highrock wants to include everyone around God's table, including those with physical challenges. In both our strengths and our limitations, we each reflect essential elements of the image of God. We hope that you will feel welcome here so that the image of God we reflect as a church body might be more complete.
There are designated handicap parking spaces in the Gates parking lot, and ramps for accessible entry to the building. All gathering spaces and restrooms in Gates are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.
