Pastoral Staff

  • Co-lead Pastor

Bio

Raised in Newburyport, MA, Becky is a native New Englander who hates being cold, but loves this place and will never leave! Becky majored in English Language and Literature at Gordon College. After a brief stint teaching high school English and coaching cross country, Becky realized that in ministry, she could do what she loved most about teaching and coaching - nurturing, leading, and helping people grow, except without the grammar lessons and long runs!

In response to this call, Becky completed her Master of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior to settling in Acton, Becky served as pastor and chaplain in a variety of ministry contexts, from churches to a retirement community. Ever seeking it herself, Becky loves sharing the untold depths of God's love and pointing the lonely authentic Christian community. Beyond this, Becky enjoys literature, writing, beautiful places, and re-arranging her home. More than anything, she relishes kicking back with her husband Will and their sweet kiddos.

Raised near Nyack, NY, Will first came to the Boston area to attend Gordon College. There he met a redhead named Becky and has been following her ever since. Will has ministered in hospitals, classrooms, and a variety of churches. A believer in the ancient dictum "faith seeking understanding," Will earned a Ph.D. in systematic theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, specializing in the conversation between modern culture and the church's proclamation of the God revealed in Jesus. He has published articles for The Scottish Journal of Theology, Ecclesiology, and The Covenant Quarterly. He loves to preach, teach, and help God's people connect heart, mind, and spirit. He also loves to play basketball, ponder the metaphysical, root for the NY Knicks, and, above all, enjoy time with Becky and their three children.
