Brookline, Mass., March 1 - Highrock Brookline announced today that Kat Hampson will become its new Lead Pastor following a vote at a members’ meeting on February 28, 2021.
The Prayer Ministry creates space for people to step into God's presence, lift up prayer for the congregation, and receive individualized prayer. There are several opportunities to engage this ministry or get involved. Also, if you have a need or concern that you would like prayer for, you can send that request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
During the closing worship set of every Sunday service, several pastors and trained members of our Prayer Team are available in the back of the sanctuary to provide individualized prayer for anyone desiring to receive prayer. This is a safe and confidential opportunity to stand in the presence of God with a loving, prayerful person and simply receive. You can share something burdening you and the Prayer Team member can pray specifically for you. Or you can request prayer without sharing any details, and the Prayer Team will be happy to pray generally for you. Anyone is welcome to receive prayer!
Another small group gathers before our Sunday worship service at each week to pray specifically for the morning's service as God gathers God's people and as we prepare to respond to God.
About once a month, we host prayer gatherings to pray for God to work in our world, neighborhoods, church, and lives. Stay tuned to MyRock or the website calendar for an upcoming gathering.
If you are interested in any of these opportunities, getting involved in the ministry or prayer, or growing in your own life of prayer, please contact Pastor Will at email@example.com.
