Highrock Prison Project

God cares about crime and bringing justice for victims, and God also extends grace to offenders, desiring the kind of justice that restores wrongdoers. In Matthew 25, Jesus says, "I was in prison and you visited me," exhorting his followers to serve the prisoner just as we are called to serve the hungry and the poor.

The Highrock Prison Project is a group on a journey to educate ourselves about the complexities of the criminal justice system with an aim to discovering concrete ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in our local area whose lives are affected by incarceration.

Each month the ministry hosts either a film discussion or book discussion related to the realities of mass incarceration. The ministry is also exploring together opportunities to bless and serve those connected to our local correctional facilities.
