So many men invest all their time and energy into work and family, leaving no time and space for friendships or to hear from God. The vision for our Men's Community is to create spaces where men can experience genuine friendship through which they can be spiritually encouraged, renewed, and challenged to love God in the tasks before them.
The Men's Community gathers for special work projects, hosts small groups, and connection events throughout the year, and also has some opportunities for occasional retreats.
Pastor Will hosts seasonal in-depth Bible studies. In past years, these have includes studies of the story of David, the Book of Job, and the Book of Genesis. Contact Pastor Will for information about upcoming BIble studies.
During our seasonal small groups, there is often a small group exclusively for men. Visit our Small Groups page to learn more about this way to connect.
The "For Men Only" ministry consists of groups of men who are working together to recover from sexual and relational brokenness. Problems of sexual integrity are symptoms of an underlying problem: a disordered pattern of intimacy with God and others. FMO groups are designed to be experiences of real, grace-filled relationships, equipping men to restore health to their relationships with God and the significant people in their lives. An FMO group regularly meets at Highrock Acton. There are also FMO groups connected to our sister church in Arlington. If you'd like to find out more about FMO or about joining a group, contact group leaders, Will, at email@example.com.
During the summer, a group of men gather early in the morning once a week for an exercise routine, often followed by coffee together at a local breakfast spot. It's an opportunity to honor the body God gave you while building relationship, accountability, and discipline. Check out the church calendar or the MyRock group for details.
This is an opportunity for dads, uncles, grandfathers, or guardians to get an exclusive weekend with just one child so they can have a special one-on-one experience. This happens every year in Late August at Camp Squanto in Swanzey, NH.
Coming up in March 2019 will be the first-ever All-Highrock Men's Retreat at Pilgrim Pines in Swanzey, NH. Men from across the Highrock Network will gather together for a weekend away to enjoy the beauty of creation, community, fun, food, worship, learning, and more.
